An ECG (electrocardiogram) is a simple test that records the electrical signals of the heart. Doctors use it to check heart rate and rhythm and to spot heart problems early.
An ECG Technician runs this test. The technician prepares the patient, places the electrodes, operates the ECG machine and records the result. The doctor then reads and explains the report.
This diploma trains you for that work. The course follows the Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) pattern. BSS is a national development agency set up in 1952 under the Planning Commission of the Government of India. It runs vocational and skill programmes through partner institutes.
